| The business in Japan has first started as Sandoz K.K. in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture in 1966 with main business of dyes and auxiliaries for leather and paper and altered the corporate name to Clariant (Japan) K.K.in line with the spun-off of the chemical divisions from Sandoz in 1995. | |||||

Clariant (Japan) K.K. integrated the specialty chemicals businesses of Hoechst Japan in 1997 and started wide operation including pigments, additives, and surfactants. Clariant (Japan) K.K. employees around 180 people. In Japan we are operating from 3 different locations which are situated in Tokyo, Osaka and Shizuoka. | ||||||
